Facing fears

Fear is an emotional reaction. It can be accompanied by feelings of tension, worry or nervousness. It can ranch from mild nervousness to intense panic. It can have both physical and psychological symptoms. If we don’t pay attention, it can quickly paralyze us.

Facing fears needs to happen gradually, goals needs to be set realistically, and support needs to be seeked from professionals, family and friends. That can help overcome them.

Practice self-compassion and remind yourself of past successes to build confidence.
