Happy Women’s Today!
Fairytales are made to make you dream about another world. They are all very similar to each other. The basic line is that a woman should wait for a white and shining armor to come along, for her to be saved or happy, that she’s to fragile to make it alone in the real world. To be exposed to such a world as a young girl, can seem romantic, but can have such a negative impact on her later life.
If a young lady continues to live on with the belief that she needs a man by her side to rely on, to be powerful, because she can’t do that on her own, she will self-doubt herself for a long time.
It can seem harmless, but beliefs are ingrained in our system at he youngest age.
Women are often chosen as a partner because of their looks or body. The ideal female partners are often characterized by looks or appearance. The beauty ideal must be increasingly pursued. Today, women are still objectified in the media and reality.
Objectification can have harmful, and even deadly, consequences. Which, although still being done, is common knowledge. The O.J. Simpson case is an excellent example of it.
