Why You Give The Wrong Men Your Energy

We gotta talk… about a pattern so many of us know all too well -giving the wrong guy chance after chance, even when deep down, we know he isn’t right for us.

Introduction

So why do we keep doing it? And what does it really say about how we see ourselves? Here are the top 4 reasons this happens:

You believe in potential

It’s easy to get swept up in who he could be, even if he’s showing that he’s not there. The truth? When you value yourself, you stop waiting for potential and start looking for someone who is already showing up as the partner you deserve.

You’re afraid of being alone

Sometimes, the thought of being without him feels scarier than staying in a relationship (or situationship) that doesn’t serve you. But here’s the reality: being with the wrong person only keeps you disconnected from the kind of love you truly desire.

You’re seeking validation through him

When you’re looking to feel enough through someone else’s approval, you’ll find yourself bending, waiting, and accepting less than you deserve. Self-worth is about knowing you’re enough on your own, without needing anyone else to confirm it.

It mimics the love you’ve received from your father (figure)

Many women find themselves drawn to emotionally unavailable partners because it feels familiar -it echoes a relationship dynamic they experienced with their father (figure) growing up.

When love felt conditional, distant, or unavailable, it’s easy to mistake these patterns as normal, but they’re simply reflections of past conditions.

This is why a bog portion of my following blog posts will be centered around building self-worth.

When you truly understand and believe in your worth, you stop settling for scraps and start setting standards.

So many of us weren’t taught how to value ourselves deeply, but here’s the good news: that can change ANYTIME!

When you build confidence in your self-worth, you’ll make choices that align with the woman you’re becoming, not the woman who’s afraid of what she might lose.

My mission is to help you step into a version of yourself that not only knows her worth, but lives by it!

Here’s a peek of what you might find in the following blog posts: confidence, boundaries, and self-worth.

Hope to see you there!
