A year ago, I visited Boedapest, Hungary. And unlike I thought I was going to see, Boedapest and all of Hungary is a home for a lot of hardworking, successful citizens with a amazing work ethics, living a lifestyle that reflected that.

Economic Evolution

Hungary belongs to the very prosperous countries in terms of GDP, life expectancy at birth, literacy, and education.

An African country is the poorest, while Switzerland tops the list.

Trade And Economy

The main sectors of the Hungarian economy in 2020 were industry (23,5%), wholesale and retail trade, transportation and hospitality (17,7%), public services, defense, education, health and social work (17,5%).

The average salary in Hungary is €1165 per month.

Industry

Large farms grow corn, wheat and rice. Small farms grow fruits and vegetables and engage in animal husbandry. Some of the agricultural products are exported. Cattle for slaughter are bred and fattened specifically for countries in the European Union.

Hungary isn’t expensive. In fact, Hungary is in the top 10 cheapest countries in Europe. Besides the fact that the country has an awful lot of beauty to offer, it is also very cheap. With a budget of about €30 -you can already stay overnight, have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Hungarian capital.

The average cost of living for a single person in Hungary is about €475 per month, excluding rent. This is over 46% lower than you would expect to pay to live in a Dutch city like Amsterdam.

Not only because of its beautiful nature and friendly people. The quiet pace of life, the fairly stable Hungarian climate and the low cost of living also make Hungary an attractive homeland. Hungary is also an attractive homeland, because it’s based in Europe, which makes it attractive for a lot of Europeans to settle without any visa troubles.
