Five pharmacy groups are joining forces to form a new entity: Healis. It comprises 31 pharmacies in Flanders and Brussels. The goal is to reach 100 within five years. The focus is on personalized care.

The role of pharmacists in providing care has grown significantly in recent years. They are no longer limited to simply handing out boxes of medication, but also vaccinate patients and actively support them. They are increasingly becoming primary care providers.

The transition to care pharmacies and the desire to give pharmacists the time and space to monitor patients more closely are at the heart of Healis’s founding. The new entity consists of 31 pharmacies from five Flemish pharmacy groups: Dessein, Panorama, Broeckx, Piers, and van Gyseghem.
