How To Be An Ourlier

Outliers really have two components if we break them down: they deeply believe they can do things others cannot do and they work relentlessly to make it the truth.

That’s the whole game. If you carry these two things, you will win.

Those top two elements sound simple, right? But these two steps also show you the tripping points of most.

People either do not carry such an unwavering self-belief, get knocked off course, submit to doubt, get discouraged, or  have some other type of true challenge of mindset… or they are unwilling to do what it takes to be a true outlier. The hard, boring, unseen work. The “figuring it out”, the sacrifices required, the late nights, the lack of time with friends/ family, the geographic moves it might require, and being completely and utterly uncomfortable, uncertain, and pushing through anyway, not giving up. Never giving up.

So my advice to you, after working with some of the top founders, CEO’s, and other executives or engineers: believe in yourself relentlessly and work relentlessly. Let’s talk about digging into that more, what you face and why, and bring it to the front without apology.
